Span of Control: Be the custodian of Talent Frameworks for Leadership Development, Performance, Effectiveness, and Succession Planning.

Qualification: MBA / Graduate from Tier 1 institute

Designation: Assistant Manager

Post Qualification Experience: 2-5 years of Consulting experience in Leadership Development, Performance and Effectiveness and Succession Planning.

Location: Lower Parel

Reporting to: Associate Director - Leadership Effectiveness

The Leadership and Rewards function exists to enhance the Firm's capability through the alignment of Strategy, Structure, Leadership, Rewards, Metrics, and Management Processes.

The function drives Organisational Effectiveness by supporting Leadership Development, Performance Strategy, and Executive Rewards across the Firm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership Effectiveness

- Support the design and implementation of Performance Frameworks for Senior legal and Allied Function Leaders

- Develop structured materials, templates, and conversation guides to enable Partners and senior leaders to drive focused, high-quality performance and development discussions

- Enable high-quality senior leader conversations by shaping inputs, synthesising insights, and structuring discussions to drive clear, outcome-oriented decisions

- Track action items, commitments, and follow-through to ensure accountability and continuity across performance cycles

- Support talent reviews, succession planning, and calibration discussions across key functions through tailored briefing notes, talking points, and pre-reads

Enabling Partner-in-Management Roles (Practice & Sector Coordinators)

- Strengthen effectiveness of Practice Coordinators, Sector Coordinators, and other partner-in-management roles by enabling clarity on priorities, decision-making, and execution

- Identify capability gaps and equip these roles with structured tools, frameworks, and insights

- Provide ongoing support to enhance their ability to drive practice and sector priorities

Strategic Initiatives & Project Management

- Contribute to culture transformation and change management initiatives, supporting design, execution, and adoption on a project-by-project basis

- Drive execution of strategic HR initiatives focused on leadership capability and partner engagement

- Manage project timelines and interdependencies to ensure disciplined delivery across work-streams

Process Excellence

- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate recurring processes, enabling greater focus on higher-value advisory and strategic work

EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

Education & Experience

- MBA in HR or a related discipline

- 2-5 years of experience in Leadership Effectiveness, PMS Frameworks, Talent Management or Leadership Development

- Familiarity with HR tools, data analysis, and process improvement is an advantage.

- Prior experience of working on structured projects with senior stakeholders will be valued.

- People Consulting Team in Firms such as McKinney, Deloitte and Aon.

Essential Competencies (Skills & Attributes)

- Analytical thinking & Insight Generation - able to work with structured and unstructured data

- Automation - familiarity with tools and approaches to automate routine tasks

- Functional Knowledge - working knowledge of core talent management frameworks

- Project management - ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

- Resilience - comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing quality under pressure
