Assistant Manager Global Markets Business Advisory - Management Reporting (MI Reporting)

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in Global Markets finance / MI / FP&A / Product Control / Business Management within an investment bank or financial services firm.

This is a front-office functions role, and were looking for a dynamic finance professional to join our Global Markets Business Advisory & MI team based in Powai, Mumbai. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with global stakeholders across EMEA, US, and Asia, supporting senior management with strategic financial analysis, performance reporting, and decision support.

Mandatory skills:

- Hands-on experience in management reporting, revenue analysis, variance analysis, and business commentary for trading or front-office functions.

- Understanding of trading products (Equities, FICC, Derivatives) and Global Markets P&L drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and publish daily, MTD & YTD P&L reports and management dashboards for senior leadership.

- Partner with Global CAO and regional teams to deliver insightful revenue, cost, and performance analytics.

- Conduct trend analysis, variance analysis, and commentary to support business decisions.

- Support automation, process transformation, and digital reporting initiatives (Power BI, VBA, etc.).

- Participate in UAT testing and ensure data accuracy and system integrity.

- Deliver high-quality presentations and insights for business reviews and executive discussions.

Education:

- MBA (Finance) or CA preferred.
