Hiring: Assistant Manager - HKEX Futures & Options (F&O)

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Experience: 4.5 - 7 years

Shift: AEJ Shift (6:00 AM IST start)

NOTE: Early morning AEJ shift (6 AM IST) is mandatory, Only Mumbai Based Candidates

Role Overview:

We are hiring an experienced professional to support Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX) listed Futures & Options operations. The role involves end- to- end margin monitoring, position risk management, and regulatory compliance for exchange- traded derivatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor daily Initial Margin (IM), Variation Margin (VM) and additional margin requirements in line with HKEX rules

- Ensure timely funding and movement of margin calls for client and in- house - positions

- Review and escalate margin breaches, intraday margin calls, and abnormal margin movements

- Coordinate with Treasury / Finance for daily margin funding

- Monitor and ensure compliance with exchange position limits, Large Open Position (LOP) thresholds, and reporting requirements

- Perform contract expiry, rollover, and options exercise / assignment

- Escalate position breaches, abnormal trading patterns, and operational errors

- Maintain accurate position records for internal and regulatory reporting

- Liaise with Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory teams on exchange rule changes and reporting

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of hands- on experience in Listed Futures & Options (F&O) operations

- Strong exposure to HKEX or APAC exchange- traded derivatives

- Proven experience in IM / VM monitoring and intraday margin calls

- Solid understanding of exchange clearing, margin funding, and position limit controls

- Experience handling expiry, rollover, and exercise/assignment processes

- Strong escalation handling and stakeholder coordination skills

- Prior experience at Senior Analyst / Assistant Manager level preferred

Educational Qualifications: Graduate degree mandatory, MBA / Postgraduate qualification preferred
