About the Role
We are looking for a smart, articulate, and dynamic Assistant Manager Marketing, Communication & PR to lead and execute end-to-end communication and public relations initiatives for a contemporary art gallery.
This role is ideal for a candidate with an excellent command of English, a confident and polished personality, and hands-on experience managing multi-channel marketing, media relations, and event communications.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Digital Communication
- Manage and regularly update website content including exhibitions, artist profiles, events, and announcements.
- Develop and maintain a consistent, engaging content strategy across social media platforms, website, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
- Drive online visibility, brand awareness, and audience engagement across all digital channels.
- Coordinate with external advertising and creative agencies for campaigns and promotions.
Public Relations & Media Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media houses, art journalists, bloggers, influencers, and cultural platforms.
- Draft and edit press releases, media notes, artist profiles, exhibition briefs, and other communication materials.
- Plan and execute media outreach for exhibitions, previews, launches, and special events.
- Track media coverage and ensure brand messaging consistency across all platforms.
Events & Promotions
- Plan, promote, and support gallery events, exhibitions, previews, and cultural programsboth online and offline.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of promotional activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing, Communication, or PR; prior exposure to art, culture, exhibitions, luxury, or creative industries is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital content, social media trends, and event marketing.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Confident personality with strong interpersonal, networking, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects independently.
