Assistant General Manager - Finance - Coffee Business - CA

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead the finance function for the Coffee Business. The role will oversee financial planning, accounting, MIS, profitability analysis, export finance, compliance, working capital, and business decision support, with a strong focus on commodity-linked operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end finance operations including accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and controls.

- Prepare and analyze P&L, MIS, profitability, margins, and business performance reports.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support commercial and strategic decision-making.

- Manage export finance, documentation, GST, RBI regulations, and other statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee working capital, cash flow, receivables, payables, and liquidity management.

- Manage inventory accounting, valuation, reconciliation, and controls.

- Monitor commodity price movements and assess their impact on margins and profitability.

- Manage and evaluate hedging, forward contracts, and mark-to-market (MTM) exposures.

- Partner with commercial, procurement, operations, and business teams to improve profitability and financial performance.

- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Strengthen financial controls, risk management, and process improvements across the business.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with relevant experience in a finance leadership/business partnering role.

- Strong experience in commodity-based businesses, preferably coffee, tea, spices, agriculture products, or similar sectors.

- Hands-on experience with export finance, GST, RBI regulations, working capital, and inventory management.

- Strong understanding of commodity pricing, hedging, forward contracts, and MTM accounting.

- Experience in financial analysis, profitability management, budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.

- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.

- CA qualification would be preferred.
