Role Overview:
As the AGM - Finance and Accounts, you will be a key player in managing the financial health and compliance of the organization. Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass overseeing accounting operations, ensuring adherence to FEMA regulations, managing taxation, conducting financial analysis, and preparing financial reports.
You will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including operations, sales, and legal, as well as external auditors and regulatory bodies. Your expertise will be crucial in providing accurate financial insights, mitigating risks, and supporting strategic decision-making, ultimately contributing to the company's sustainable growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage the organization's compliance with FEMA regulations, including reporting requirements and adherence to foreign exchange policies, to mitigate risks and ensure smooth international transactions.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies, manage tax compliance, and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to provide insights into financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to provide stakeholders with a clear understanding of the organization's financial position.
- Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and implementing audit recommendations to improve internal controls and financial processes.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee all aspects of finance and accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Proven expertise in interpreting and applying FEMA regulations, ensuring compliance with foreign exchange policies and reporting requirements.
- Strong understanding of taxation principles and practices, with the ability to develop and implement tax planning strategies and manage tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth financial analysis, interpret financial data, and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional financial reporting skills, with the ability to prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- Must possess 7-10 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounts.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Delhi.
