About The Opportunity:

A growth-focused firm operating in the Financial Services & Corporate Finance sector, supporting commercial decision-making for fast-scaling businesses.

The role sits in a high-impact finance function serving strategic planning, statutory compliance, taxation and treasury operations for India operations.

This is an on-site leadership role based in Gurgaon.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end business finance functions including monthly close, management reporting, consolidation and variance analysis to drive actionable insights for the leadership team.

- Own statutory compliance, direct & indirect tax compliance (corporate tax, GST) and coordinate statutory audits and tax assessments with external advisors.

- Drive budgeting, forecasting and FP&A processes - prepare rolling forecasts, scenario analysis and financial models to support business planning and pricing decisions.

- Manage treasury and working-capital activities: cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, bank relationships and optimization of funding costs.

- Implement and optimize finance processes and ERP controls (SAP/Oracle), establish MIS dashboards, and improve automation to increase accuracy and reduce close timelines.

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team; partner with commercial, operations and HR stakeholders to embed finance-as-a-business-partner culture.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Have:

- Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Ind AS.

- IFRS.

- Corporate Taxation.

- GST Compliance.

- SAP FICO.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel.

- Financial Modelling.

Preferred:

- Power BI.

- Oracle E-Business Suite.

- SOX / Internal Controls experience.

Qualifications:

- Qualified CA with proven end-to-end finance leadership experience in a corporate or services environment.

- Proven track record in FP&A, statutory reporting, tax compliance and ERP implementations.

- Strong stakeholder management with experience influencing commercial and senior leadership teams; ability to work full-time on-site in Gurgaon.
