Plant operations in a high-volume automotive OEM or Tier-1 manufacturing environment.
The role involves driving production excellence, operational efficiency, quality improvement, and cost optimization while ensuring alignment with global automotive manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead overall automotive manufacturing operations including production, assembly, and machining lines
- Ensure achievement of daily, monthly, and annual production targets with high efficiency
- Drive Lean Manufacturing systems including TPS, Kaizen, 5S, and waste elimination
- Improve OEE, productivity, and reduce cycle time across all production lines
- Manage assembly line balancing, workflow optimization, and takt time adherence
- Lead automation integration including robotics and advanced manufacturing systems
- Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and process optimization initiatives
- Oversee SAP/ERP-based production planning and reporting
- Manage manpower planning, training, and performance development
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations
Exp (Years): 15-22 Years
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in automotive OEM / Tier-1 manufacturing environments
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPS, Six Sigma, TPM methodologies
- Strong knowledge of automotive assembly line & production systems
- Hands-on experience in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC quality systems
Education: B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Industrial Engineering
