
Role: Hunting Role and Individual Contributor + Team
Management.
Work Mode: Hybrid (Pan India travel is required)
Location: Chennai/Bangalore
Role & Responsibility, Experience:
- Candidate should have 15+ years' experience and at least 10+ years of direct sales experience and at least 5 years of team management experience in IT services sales is mandatorily required in a B2B environment.
- This is foremost an Individual contributor (IC) role and in addition there is a team of 4 Sales Managers and 2 Business Development members to handle.
- Responsibility to sell professional services and IT services largely to the Captives of MNC's /GCC's who are established across India. Information Technology Services Eg: Development & software engineering, services around AI/ GenAI, Test automation, RPA, UI/UX Design services, ERP, Application development, mobility etc. & professional services (Staffing services)
- Consistent & proven revenue achievement over past 5 years is required at a minimum.
Ability to assimilate, learn company's IT services offerings and present them to customers at senior level management to gain mindshare, generate sales leads.
- Past experience in IT services / professional services sales is mandatory
- Should have the ability & drive and implement sales strategy and drive the team to achieve the revenue and other goals
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape & players
- Technical depth and understanding of IT, to present capabilities & differentiators succinctly
- Account opening & management, relationship building at mid-Senior & CXO levels and
nurture these relationships
- Excellent communication skills, presentation & listening skills and acumen to qualify, pursue sales leads
- Experience in handling opportunities ranging from USD 0.1M upwards to USD 1M
- Work with delivery counterpart to ensure projects & services are delivered on time, within
budgets and achieve CSAT that generates repeat business
- Maintain CRM up to date with respect to leads, revenue & collections
- Reporting: Prepare and present performance stats & analytics for periodic management
reviews, QBR's and annual planning
- Ensure account receivables are collected within prescribed time limits
- Identify, plan & participate in industry events & exhibitions to present the company to
increase brand awareness, garner mindshare, generate sales leads
- Run cadence meetings with team members, ensure their pipeline is qualified for pursuit and guide them to achieve their individual targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors / undergrad degree in Engineering or Science with a focus on Information
Technology or Instrumentation or Electronics & Communications or electronics is required.
- Post grad diploma/ degree in Business studies with specialization in IT related topics is a plus
- Senior candidates with higher experience will also be considered.
- Contacts at the senior management/ CXO levels in target market is desirable
