We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Key Account Manager (KAM) with a proven track record in enterprise telecom sales and team leadership. This role demands strategic thinking, client relationship management, and the ability to drive revenue growth through high-value accounts. As a senior member of the sales team, you will also mentor and guide junior executives to achieve collective success.
Key Responsibilities Enterprise:
Sales Leader Strategic Sales & Account Management:
- Client Relationship Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value enterprise clients across diverse industry verticals, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
- Solution-Oriented Selling: Deeply understand each clients business model, pain points, and growth objectives to craft bespoke telecom solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
- Revenue Expansion: Lead upselling and cross-selling initiatives by identifying opportunities to introduce complementary products and services, thereby increasing account profitability.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals while securing long-term retention.
Business Development & Funnel Management:
- Opportunity Identification: Proactively scout for new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and strategic networking.
- Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that outline growth strategies, stakeholder mapping, and engagement timelines.
- Lead Generation Collaboration: Partner with marketing and product teams to design campaigns and initiatives that generate high-quality leads and accelerate pipeline velocity.
- Sales Funnel Optimization: Maintain a healthy and dynamic sales funnel by continuously qualifying prospects and nurturing leads through the buying journey.
Client Engagement & Solutioning:
- Professional-Level Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and live product demonstrations tailored to the strategic priorities of CXOs, IT Heads, and decision-makers.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to co-create customized proposals and integrated telecom solutions.
- Client Onboarding & Support: Ensure smooth onboarding experiences for new clients and provide ongoing post-sales support to maintain satisfaction and reduce churn.
Reporting & Forecasting:
- Performance Tracking: Monitor individual and team KPIs using CRM tools and Excel-based dashboards to ensure alignment with sales targets and business objectives.
- Forecast Accuracy: Provide timely and precise sales forecasts, pipeline health reports, and revenue projections to senior leadership for strategic planning.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze client feedback, competitor moves, and industry trends to continuously refine sales strategies and improve value propositions.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of telecom products, enterprise connectivity, and managed services.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
