Job Summary:
The Head of Investor Relations (IR) will be the primary link between Arvind Fashions Limited and the global investment community. This individual is responsible for developing, executing, and managing the comprehensive investor relations strategy to ensure the company's performance and strategy are accurately understood and fairly valued by analysts, shareholders, and potential investors. The role requires a deep understanding of the fashion/retail industry, financial acumen, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Investor Strategy & Communication:
- Develop Strategy: Design and execute a proactive, best-in-class investor relations program that aligns with AFL's corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Key Messaging: Develop and refine the company's core investment narrative, key messages, and positioning for presentation to the investment community.
- Corporate Disclosure: Manage the disclosure process for quarterly earnings, annual reports, press releases, regulatory filings, and investor presentations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SEBI/Stock Exchange regulations.
- Investor Events: Plan, manage, and execute all IR events, including earnings calls, investor conferences, roadshows (domestic and international), and non-deal roadshows (NDRs).
2. Financial Analysis & Market Intelligence:
- Financial Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of AFL's business model, financial performance, and operational drivers across all brands and segments.
- Market Perception: Continuously monitor and analyze changes in investor sentiment, market trends, competitive positioning, and equity research reports to provide timely insights and feedback to the CFO and CEO.
- Valuation: Track company stock performance, peer valuations, and key industry metrics to support internal strategic decision-making related to capital structure and shareholder value creation.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, credible relationships with institutional investors, retail investors, sell-side analysts, and rating agencies.
- Feedback Loop: Act as the primary conduit for information flow between the management and investors, ensuring a consistent and transparent dialogue.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO, CEO, Strategy Head, and Legal/Compliance teams to ensure all external communications are aligned, accurate, and compliant.
4. Compliance & Governance:
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to all disclosure requirements, insider trading regulations, and corporate governance best practices.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors regarding financial and non-financial data required for IR communications.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Experience: 12-16 years of relevant experience, with significant time spent in an Investor Relations role, or a related field such as Equity Research (Sell-Side or Buy-Side), Corporate Finance, or Strategy Consulting with deep IR exposure.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven understanding of the Retail, Fashion, or Consumer Goods sector in India, including key business drivers, competitive dynamics, and valuation metrics.
- Financial Acumen: Exceptional financial modelling, analytical, and interpretative skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Communication: Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills. Must be a confident and articulate spokesperson for the company.
- Interpersonal Skills: High emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to build trust with both internal executives and external investors.
- Travel: Willingness to undertake travel for roadshows and investor meetings.
