Description: We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager HR & IR to oversee statutory compliances, labor laws, and industrial relations across our organization. The role will ensure 100% legal compliance, smooth employee relations, and effective coordination with government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Statutory & Legal Compliance:

Ensure end-to-end compliance with all applicable Central & State labor laws, including but not limited to:

Factories Act

Industrial Disputes Act

Shops & Establishments Act

Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act

Minimum Wages Act

Payment of Wages Act

EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Maternity Benefit, POSH, etc.

- Handle inspections, audits, notices, and compliance filings with labor authorities.

- Maintain statutory registers, records, and licenses; ensure timely renewals.

- Coordinate with legal consultants for labor-related cases and litigation support.

Industrial Relations (IR):

- Manage employee relations and ensure harmonious industrial relations at plant/site level.

- Address employee grievances, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and disputes.

- Support management during conciliation, labor court matters, and negotiations.

Contract Labour Management:

- Ensure compliance for all contractors and contract workforce.

- Monitor contractor licenses, wage payments, statutory deductions, and documentation.

- Conduct periodic compliance audits of contractors.

Policy & Process Management:

- Review HR policies aligned with statutory requirements.

- Advise management on compliance risks and mitigation strategies.

- Support HR team on compliance-related aspects of employee lifecycle processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Post Graduate in HR, IR, Labour Law Only

Experience: 8-15 years of hands-on experience in HR compliance & IR

- Strong exposure to factory / plant / multi-location operations preferred

- Experience in Pharma Industries will be an advantage

- Experience in handling labor authorities is mandatory

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws & statutory compliances

- Hands-on experience in IR

- Excellent liaison and stakeholder management skills

- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy

- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills

- Ability to work independently
