About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Operations Specialist with strong expertise in Marketo to design, execute, and optimize automated marketing workflows. You will collaborate closely with content, creative, and sales teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery, exceptional quality, and measurable commercial impact.
What Youll Be Doing
Campaign Execution & Automation
- Build, configure, and manage Marketo programs, templates, and automated workflows.
- Upload and manage text, graphics, and multimedia content across Marketo assets.
- Leverage tokens, dynamic content, and other advanced features to improve efficiency, consistency, and scale.
- Continuously test, experiment, and optimize formats, CTAs, and workflows to improve lead quality and conversion.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with content and creative teams to structure assets for seamless Marketo integration.
- Provide clear guidance on content adjustments (e.g., headline length, layout changes) to avoid production delays.
- Work with sales, content marketing, and web teams to ensure cohesive customer journeys and accurate data flow.
Process & Data Management
- Document campaign timelines, assets, and flows to support internal communications and stakeholder alignment.
- Ensure proper data hygiene, privacy compliance, and seamless MA/CRM integration.
- Identify and address inefficient processes; recommend and implement improvements.
Training & Enablement
- Educate internal teams on Marketo best practices, new workflows, formats, and capabilities.
- Support cross-functional partners by explaining how marketing automation can enhance their objectives (lead gen, ROI tracking, nurturing, sales intelligence, etc.).
Essential Functions
- Act as the internal Marketo expert, driving scalable processes and maximizing platform potential.
- Develop standardized content requirements and workflows for efficient Marketo implementation.
- Collaborate with the webmaster on form integrations and website-to-Marketo journeys.
- Contribute to customer journey development and content strategy alignment across digital touchpoints.
- Support Argus commitment to continuous improvement in people, technology, and marketing processes.
Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Proven expertise with Marketo, including building programs, workflows, nurture campaigns, tokens, and dynamic content.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and MACRM integration.
- Experience with web form integration, customer journeys, and multimedia content management.
Analytical & Operational Skills
- Ability to forecast timelines, manage workloads, and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
- Experience with A/B testing, performance analytics, and campaign optimization.
- Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and best practices for data management.
- Ability to identify bottlenecks and improve operational efficiency.
Communication & Collaboration
- Skilled at training and supporting cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Proactive communicator - willing to call or meet in person to build strong working relationships.
Professional Experience
- 35 years of experience in marketing operations with a strong focus on automation.
- Demonstrated success driving commercially impactful campaigns in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-driven, and results-focused.
