About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our Sports Medicine / Endoscopy / Dex & Bio (Trauma) division in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve business growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for Bangalore territory in line with organizational goals.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure team alignment with business objectives.
Market Development:
- Conduct territory mapping, competitor analysis, and customer engagement activities.
- Execute marketing campaigns and product awareness initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
Business Growth & Operations:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance through reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop key accounts in the region.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background:
- MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred).
Experience:
- Proven track record of managing sales in Bangalore region.
- Experience in handling Sports Medicine / Endoscopy / Trauma portfolio is an added advantage.
