About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Sales Executive to lead sales growth and business expansion within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will bring deep market understanding, an established network across the building materials ecosystem, and a strong track record in both project and channel sales. This role requires strategic thinking, robust relationship management, and the ability to convert market opportunities into sustainable revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:
- Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies to consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing business accounts.
Channel & Project Sales Management:
- Build, strengthen, and expand the dealer and distributor network across the region.
- Generate and manage business from key stakeholders such as Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, Contractors, and Project Consultants.
- Identify upcoming project opportunities, track progress, and drive them to order closure.
Market Development & Intelligence:
- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor landscape, and emerging trends.
- Provide actionable market intelligence and feedback to the management team to support strategic decision-making.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with channel partners, influencers, and key decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (logistics, finance, supply chain) to ensure timely deliveries, payment follow-ups, and high customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, and activity trackers.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and credit controls.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 3-7 years of proven experience in Building Materials or Interior Products Sales, with a strong understanding of both channel and project sales.
- Strong market knowledge and well-established contacts in the assigned territory.
- Demonstrated expertise in Project Sales, Dealer Network Management, and relationship-based selling.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
