Area Sales Head
Role Overview
The Area Sales Head will be responsible for driving business growth, managing and expanding hospital partnerships, and leading a high-performing field sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational execution skills, excellent relationship management, and proven experience in achieving aggressive sales targets in a B2C service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute area sales plans and quotas aligned with business objectives.
- Drive achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets across the assigned region.
- Build and strengthen the brand presence within the designated hospital network zone.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with hospital stakeholders, doctors, and customers.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales executives to build a high-performance team.
- Monitor team performance, ensuring target achievement, retention, and low attrition.
- Conduct regular reviews and ensure daily MIS reporting on product performance and sales activities.
- Prepare and present sales reports, business insights, and performance dashboards for management.
- Oversee hospital reconciliations and business operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 81 to 2 years in Sales, with at least 4+ years in team and area management.
- Strong background in B2C services (BFSI, Insurance, Retail, Telecom, Consumer Credit, or related).
- Proven ability to hire, manage, and mentor large sales teams (experience managing female staff preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze sales data and optimize performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High ownership mindset with ability to work in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.
