Job Description - AGM/Manager/ GM - Procurement - Import

Position Location: Delhi

Responsibilities:

Procurement of raw material

- Responsible for Imported raw material procurement (used batteries, RML, cables and other lead related products) requirement planning as per business plan

- Imported Raw material procurement (used batteries, RML, cables and other lead related products) as per business plan at the right price

- The quality of raw material is as per the agreed business plan Territory Expansion

- Identification of new suppliers/markets and developments of existing ones.

- Ensure proper reference check/verification before on boarding new supplier

Fund Management & planning:

- Ensure that the Fund requirement planning is given to finance department as per the agreed time frame

Claims & Payments:

- Should have handled either ferrous(10000 MT) or non-ferrous(5000 MT) scrap in large volumes per month.

- Facilitate timely payments for the arrived material so that there are no detention or demurrage charges through the HO finance department

- Facilitate timely and as per process - off loading of container through the plant, with proper quality checks and photographs at each stage

- Ensure timely and smooth claim management process

Forecast & Plan:

- Ensure planning & forecasting as per yearly BP (Business Plan)

- Manage short term planning(3 months) for ensuring no shortage of raw material at plant MIS

- Provide daily MIS as required by the management
