Archroma - Manager - Logistics & Export/Import

Freight Forwarding:

- Oversees end-to-end logistics operations.

- Coordinates with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams.

- Responsible for inbound sea / air freights to Global Locations.

- Responsible for outbound freights in joint collaboration with the regional counterparts.

- Handles day-to-day logistics tasks like shipment tracking, documentation, and vendor coordination.

- Oversee accurate preparation and verification of documentation: bills of lading, certificates of origin, LC documentation, duty forms, duty excemption, etc.

- Manage end-to-end import/export operations, including coordination with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.

EXIM:

- Oversees a company's international trade operations, ensuring compliance with all trade regulations, negotiating contracts, coordinating shipments, and managing relationships with suppliers and customs authorities.

- Analysis of Imports & Export related port data.

- Responsibilities include maintaining proper documentation, tracking goods, identifying opportunities to reduce taxes and duties, and optimizing logistics to ensure efficient, timely deliveries while mitigating risks in global trade.

- Manage import/export budgets, track freight and duty expenses, analyze margins.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize shipping methods.

- Perform risk assessments (e.g., customs delays, trade disruptions) and enact contingency plans.

- Keep updated on changes in international trade regulations and adapt procedures accordingly.

- Oversee and maintain all necessary import/export licenses, certifications, and registrations.

- Monitor and manage customs duties and tariff exposures; implement duty mitigation strategies.

- Identify and manage risks associated with international trade, ensuring a secure and reliable import/export process.

- Ability to monitor trade trends, analyze data, and develop strategies for efficient import/export operations.

- Coordinates with CHA (Customs House Agent) and shipping lines.

- Handles import documentation (Bill of Entry, LC, etc.)

- Ensures timely clearance and compliance with DGFT and customs.

- Ensures adherence to customs regulations and trade laws.

- Manages booking, tracking, and cost negotiations.

- Works with banks on Letters of Credit (LC), bank guarantees, and payment terms.

- Ensures financial compliance in international transactions.

- Ensure full compliance with trade regulations, customs protocols, and global shipping laws.

- Monitor shipments closely to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues promptly.

- Power BI analysis, Reporting , SAP Knowledge, MIS.
