Role Overview

The Manager / Senior Manager - Sales & Marketing (Medical Components) will be responsible for leading sales growth, market expansion, and strategic initiatives for ARaymonds medical components business. This is a senior, customer-facing leadership role involving P&L responsibility, team management, strategic planning, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, design, and operations teams.

The role demands strong commercial acumen, experience in medical or precision manufacturing segments, and the ability to translate market opportunities into profitable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

- Execute the annual sales and marketing strategy for the medical components business as defined with the Head of Department

- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting with accuracy and accountability

- Achieve individual and team sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth

- Drive new customer acquisition and development of new markets and applications

- Lead RFQ receipt, evaluation, and conversion for new and existing customers

Customer & Key Account Management

- Act as the primary escalation point for key accounts and strategic customers

- Manage pre-sales and post-sales customer interactions to ensure high satisfaction levels

- Coordinate closely with customer engineering and design teams to understand technical requirements

- Ensure clear communication of customer specifications to internal design and engineering teams

- Conduct regular Customer Satisfaction Surveys and drive action plans based on feedback

Strategy, P&L & Business Management

- Play a key role in business strategy formulation and execution for the medical segment

- Own P&L responsibility, including revenue, margins, and cost control

- Drive improvement in gross margins through pricing strategy, product mix optimization, and cost efficiency

- Manage sales overheads and ensure budget adherence

- Lead new project evaluations from commercial and strategic feasibility perspectives

Pricing, Commercials & Collections

- Oversee product quotations, pricing strategy, and commercial negotiations

- Ensure timely closure of commercial discussions and contract finalization

- Drive disciplined payment collection within approved credit periods

- Monitor commercial risks and ensure compliance with internal governance

Business Intelligence & Market Insights

- Conduct detailed market and competitor analysis covering pricing, technologies, and new projects

- Map market potential and define target segments to ensure profitable growth

- Perform lost RFQ analysis and identify corrective actions

- Provide market inputs and insights for long-term strategic planning

- Drive new product idea generation and product benchmarking initiatives

Cross-Functional & Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring performance, capability development, and engagement

- Work closely with design, engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution

- Ensure operational feasibility studies are completed for new opportunities

- Drive project management discipline across customer programs

Education & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA (Marketing / Sales / Strategy) is an added advantage

- 8 to 14 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing

- Prior experience in medical devices, medical components, precision manufacturing, automotive, or regulated manufacturing environments is highly preferred

- Proven experience handling key accounts, P&L ownership, and leading teams
