Role Overview:

The Key Account Manager - Clipping Solutions is a senior commercial role responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key OEM and Tier-1 customer relationships, and expanding ARaymonds clipping solutions business across assigned regions. The role involves full ownership of sales targets, profitability, customer development, and strategic market intelligence, while ensuring strong alignment with internal stakeholders across engineering, projects, and operations.

This position requires a strong blend of strategic account management, P&L ownership, customer engagement, and new business development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

- Execute the regional business development strategy in line with objectives defined by the Head of Department.

- Own annual, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasting, budgeting, and target achievement.

- Drive new customer and market development across OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers for clipping solutions.

- Manage end-to-end RFQ processes, including receipt, evaluation, coordination, and timely submission.

- Conduct regular customer visits and maintain accurate customer and business data.

P&L and Commercial Management:

- Own profitability and contribution margin for assigned accounts and projects.

- Lead commercial evaluation and management of new projects.

- Drive value-per-vehicle growth through product penetration and solution upselling.

- Prepare and manage product quotations in line with pricing and margin guidelines.

- Ensure customer receivables are managed within prescribed credit and overdue limits.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Ensure timely resolution of pre-sales and post-sales issues in coordination with internal teams.

- Build and sustain long-term, trust-based relationships with strategic customers.

Business Intelligence & Strategy:

- Track and analyze competitor activity, pricing trends, and upcoming OEM and Tier-1 projects.

- Conduct lost RFQ analysis and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

- Support strategy formulation through market insights and ensure effective execution.

- Contribute to new product ideation, benchmarking, and value engineering initiatives.

Self & Team Development:

- Actively participate in technical and behavioral training programs sponsored by the company.

- Engage in self-learning and cross-functional knowledge building.

- Represent ARaymond at exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry forums as required.

Information Security & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to ARaymonds information security policies and ISO 27001 requirements.

- Protect confidential customer and company information under their custody.

- Report any suspected security incidents, vulnerabilities, or non-compliance.

- Promote information security awareness and compliance within the department.

- Support deployment of information security management systems and initiatives.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).

- Relevant experience in key account management, sales, or business development within automotive components, industrial products, or engineered solutions.

- Proven track record of managing OEM and Tier-1 customers with P&L responsibility.
