Anarock - Senior Vice President - Legal

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Vice President - Legal to provide overall leadership and oversight of the Legal function. The role will oversee litigation, arbitration, commercial legal matters, team performance and legal governance, while working closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide overall leadership and oversight of the Legal team and its activities.

- Lead and oversee litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution matters, including external counsel management and legal strategy.

- Oversee commercial contracts, legal risk and other key matters handled by the Legal function.

- Drive team management, mentoring, performance and accountability, with overall visibility of team deliverables.

- Establish and monitor legal processes, SOPs, templates, playbooks and governance mechanisms.

- Provide overall team MIS/reporting and visibility on key legal matters, risks, timelines and priorities to senior management.

- Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders on critical legal and commercial matters.

- Support IPO readiness, corporate governance and legal compliance initiatives.

- Ensure effective management of multiple priorities with quick turnaround and high-quality execution.

- Bring strong cross-cultural and stakeholder management capabilities while working with diverse teams and external advisors.

Key Requirements:

- 15 - 19 years of relevant legal experience with strong exposure to litigation, arbitration, commercial contracts and corporate legal matters.

- Proven experience in leading and managing legal teams.

- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work closely with senior leadership.

- Experience managing external legal counsel and complex disputes.

- Strong understanding of legal governance, processes and risk management.

- Exposure to IPO readiness / corporate governance will be an advantage.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities with quick turnaround times.

- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Travel: Predominantly office-based role with minimal travel requirements.
