Hiring: Credit Risk - Regulated Funds (Analyst / Senior Analyst)

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Experience:

- Analyst : 1- 2.5 years

- Senior Analyst : 2- 4 years

We are hiring Credit Risk professionals to support regulated fund counterparties within a global investment banking environment. The role sits within an independent Credit Risk Management (CRM) function supporting EMEA clients.

Role Overview:

- Perform credit assessment and due diligence for regulated fund clients including Mutual Funds, Pension Funds, Asset Managers and Investment Advisors

- Prepare credit analysis and credit memos, including internal risk ratings and recommendations

- Set, monitor and review credit limits and counterparty exposures

- Ongoing portfolio monitoring, breach analysis and risk escalation

- Partner with Front Office, Legal, Operations and Onshore Risk teams

- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory standards

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- 2- 4 years of relevant experience in Credit Risk / Counterparty Credit Risk / Credit Risk Management

- Hands- on exposure to regulated funds (mandatory)

Strong experience in:

- Credit analysis and credit memo preparation

- Counterparty risk assessment

- Credit limit setting and exposure monitoring

- Experience within a global investment bank, rating agency, or large asset manager

- Strong analytical skills and stakeholder communication Highly Preferred

- Exposure to ISDA / CSA / collateral and netting concepts

- Experience supporting EMEA clients

- Certifications such as FRM / CFA (completed or in progress)

Educational Qualifications:

- Tier 1 / Tier 2 institute preferred (IIMs, ISB, IITs, top- tier finance programs)

- CA / CFA / FRM considered a strong advantage
