Middle Office - Global Markets Operations (Derivatives) - Analyst

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Shift: Asia Shift | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Experience: 2-3 years

A leading global financial services firm is hiring for its Global Middle Office function in Mumbai. The role sits within a core control and advisory function supporting Front Office trading activities across derivative products.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-end understanding and management of the derivatives trade lifecycle

- Trade validation, trade & position reconciliations across systems

- Monitoring exceptions and breaks; timely resolution within defined SLAs

- Managing risk exposure and ensuring integrity of transactional, P&L and position data

- Supporting efficiency and process improvement initiatives within Middle Office

- Close interaction with Front Office, Risk, Finance and Operations teams

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in OTC Derivatives Middle Office

- Strong exposure to trade and position reconciliations

Solid understanding of derivative products, including:

- Listed Derivatives (Futures & Options)

- Interest Rate Swaps

- Basis Swaps

- Swaptions

- Strong analytical mindset with front-to-back operations understanding

- Ability to work under tight deadlines without breaching SLAs

- Excellent MS Excel / MS Office skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Educational Qualifications:

- Post Graduate in Finance, OR

- Graduate with relevant Middle Office derivatives experience
