Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales for our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) services, with a specific focus on NetSuite. Our NetSuite partnership is a 12-year old mature practice, a key part of our strong Oracle/NetSuite partnership, through which we have delivered over 100+ successful implementations and developed proprietary SuiteApps and various integrations to extend the NetSuite ecosystem.
This role requires a professional with a proven track record in consultative sales within the mid-market segment and a deep understanding of the ERP ecosystem. The successful candidate will be based in India and primarily focus on generating leads and building business in the Middle East market.
Key Responsibilities
Market Focus and Lead Generation:
- Serve as the primary business development resource for the Middle East market, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue targets.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Middle East business ecosystem and market dynamics.
- Requires travel to the Middle East for prospect meetings, industry events and conferences.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Employ a consultative sales approach, understanding client mid-market requirements, and assessing the quality and potential of leads.
- Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery through proposal generation and deal closure.
- Maintain a robust understanding of the entire ERP ecosystem, including competitive landscape, and specifically deep expertise in NetSuite sales.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of converting pipeline opportunities into realized business and closed deals.
Collaboration and Internal Alignment:
- Work closely as a "go-getter" with the Marketing team to ensure aligned messaging, successful lead generation campaigns, and effective market penetration.
- Collaborate with the ERP Practice team to ensure solution alignment, proper scoping, and seamless transition from sales to implementation.
- Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates to leadership.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in business development or sales, specifically within the IT services or enterprise software space.
- Demonstrated experience working on ERP sales, with a significant portion of experience dedicated to NetSuite.
Skills & Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of the ERP ecosystem and the value proposition of modern cloud ERP solutions.
- Proven ability to understand and address the specific business requirements of mid-market companies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Highly Desirable Qualifications (Great to Have)
- Prior business development experience focusing on the Middle East region.
- Familiarity and experience navigating the business, regulatory, and cultural ecosystem of Middle East markets.
