Position Overview:

AMARIS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Head to lead and oversee our financial operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic growth. As a key member of the leadership team, the Finance Head will be responsible for streamlining accounting functions, establishing and maintaining robust financial policies, and driving cost optimization. This is a high-impact role critical to AMARIS's continued success in the luxury jewellery industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership:

- Lead, manage, and mentor the accounting team to ensure seamless operations and professional growth.

- Develop and implement robust accounting policies, SOPs, and KRAs to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

2. Accounting and Compliance:

- Oversee daily accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including audits and tax filings.

3. Production Accounting:

- Develop a deep understanding of jewelry production processes to set up effective financial systems and structures.

- Analyze monthly trends in production costs, wastage, and staff utility at workshops to optimize efficiency.

- Identify and mitigate risks in production operations if any.

- Collaborate with production teams to monitor and control inventory and material usage.

4. Cost Optimization:

- Identify opportunities for cost savings across all operational and procurement functions.

- Review and understand production accounting and

- Negotiate with vendors to secure the best terms, enhancing profitability.

5. Receivables Management:

- Monitor and manage accounts receivable to optimize cash flow and reduce credit risks.

- Develop strategies to improve the collection process and resolve outstanding receivables efficiently.

6. Budgeting and Planning:

- Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies aligned with AMARIS's growth objectives.

- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS

7. Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies.

- Act as a financial advisor to support key business decisions, including expansions and investments.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in financial leadership roles, preferably in retail, luxury, or consumer-focused industries.

Expertise:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, compliance, and financial regulations.

- Proven track record in cost optimization, receivables management, and team leadership.

- Experience in implementing accounting policies, SOPs, and financial controls.
