As a Major Account Executive, you will be selling the entire Akamai Portfolio to the install base. You will be maximizing revenue generation within your assigned territory through named existing accounts. Thereby, enabling your customers to become more successful and profitable online.
As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Articulating Akamai's value proposition to C-Level executives and corporate decision makers.
- Developing a strategic sales plan to create/manage a high-volume sales pipeline through successful execution.
- Working within integrated partnerships with sales engineers to ensure consultative engagement with prospects and customers.
- Managing contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies.

- Have 10+ years of relevant experience and a degree or its equivalent
- Demonstrate successful sales experience in managed services and solutions sales
- Possess understanding of the basic concepts of Security, Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
