Job Summary

Airpay Vyaapaar, a company dedicated to empowering financial inclusion, is seeking a seasoned Sr Area Sales Manager with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader responsible for overseeing and driving sales operations in the Yavatmal area. This full-time, on-site role requires a professional with a proven track record in sales management, team leadership, and strategic planning to transform local stores into neighborhood bankers and expand access to financial services.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all sales operations within the designated area, creating and executing strategic plans to drive sales growth and achieve ambitious targets.

- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing continuous training, support, and performance monitoring to ensure their success.

- Establish and nurture strong relationships with local store owners, partners, and key community stakeholders to build a robust network.

- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new opportunities, understand competitive landscapes, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

- Ensure the achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and the area.

- Facilitate regular communication with the team and senior leadership, providing updates on sales performance, market trends, and operational challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in sales management and team leadership.

- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA Preferred.

- Proven experience in Market Analysis and developing effective Sales Strategies.

- Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- The ability to work independently, manage a team effectively, and travel frequently within the designated area.

- Proficiency in the local language and familiarity with the local market.
