Position Title: PE & Automation

Function: Finance

Location: Gurugram

Reports to: Automation & Finance Technology

Role Level: CXO-6

Job Purpose

- Analyze existing finance processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve productivity.

- Support in the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions using advanced technologies to eliminate manual tasks, enhance accuracy, and accelerate process execution.

Key Accountabilities

Functional Activities

- Analyze current finance processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce cycle times, and enhance operational efficiency.

- Analyze and visualize process performance metrics using Power BI to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions utilizing technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), workflow automation, and artificial intelligence (AI). Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, eliminate manual errors, and enhance scalability.

- Implement AI-driven predictive analytics to forecast process bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure alignment of automation initiatives with organizational objectives. Communicate effectively to manage expectations and foster a culture of collaboration.

- Manage automation projects from inception to completion, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, execution, and monitoring. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices, conducting process audits, and implementing feedback mechanisms. Identify opportunities for further optimization and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Provide training and support to team members on new processes, tools, and technologies related to process excellence and automation. Foster skill development and knowledge sharing to enhance team capabilities.

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of automation solutions. Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement to drive operational excellence.

- Ensure automation solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with process changes to safeguard data integrity and maintain compliance standards.

- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, automation workflows, and project deliverables. Prepare regular reports and updates for management, highlighting progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions with existing systems and processes. Engage with IT, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with business objectives.

- Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Coordination with finance managers and staff to gather feedback and ensure alignment of automation initiatives with departmental goals.

Engagement with IT professionals to integrate automation solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.

Vendors and Solution Providers:

Engagement with external vendors and solution providers to evaluate and implement automation technologies and solutions.

F. Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education requirements - CA Qualified, Finance or equivalent

- 3-4 years of experience in process improvement, automation, or related roles.

- 4+ years of experience in process improvement, automation, or related roles within the airline industry or a similar complex organization.
