Position: International Business Head - US EdTech Sales

Job Summary


Aimlay, a global platform dedicated to empowering working professionals and experiential learners through accessible education (Matriculation to PhD), is seeking a strategic and experienced International Business Head to drive expansion, primarily focusing on the US EdTech Sales market.


This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Rohini, requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience and the ability to work the 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM IST shift to effectively align with US business hours.


The Head will be responsible for defining the international sales strategy, leading the international sales team, and achieving significant market share growth globally.


Key Responsibilities


International Sales Strategy and Business Development:


- Lead and execute aggressive business development strategies across different global regions, with a primary focus on the US educational technology market, to generate high-quality inquiries and sales.

- Own and drive the growth of international market share for Aimlay's portfolio of courses (from Matriculation to PhD).

- Analyze international market trends and regulatory landscapes to identify new opportunities and competitive positioning.


Team Leadership and Management:

- Manage and lead the team of International Counsellors, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and performance management to ensure the achievement of ambitious international sales targets.

- Develop and implement sales strategies and training programs tailored for the international market.


Client and Solution Mapping:

- Actively engage in mapping complex customer requirements (working professionals, experiential learners, PhD aspirants) and translating them into clear specifications for the

appropriate products, services, or solutions offered by Aimlay.

- Ensure the product offering effectively validates experiential learning and professional contributions in line with the company's mission.


Global Operations and Coordination:

- Oversee critical export operations and assist with managing international business activities.

- Independently assist and accompany various international delegations or high-stakes

meetings as required.

- Liaise effectively with concerned internal departments (Academics, Counseling, Marketing) to ensure smooth operations and effective discharge of all international responsibilities.


Shift Commitment:

- Must be comfortable working the mandatory 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM IST shift to manage client interactions, teams, and business operations in the US and other Western regions.


Qualifications


- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or international operations, with a mandatory focus on the EdTech Sales sector.


- Domain Expertise: Proven experience in International EdTech Sales with a strong understanding of the educational technology landscape and market dynamics, particularly in the US.


- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage and scale an international sales or counselling team.


- Global Acumen: Strong experience in cross-cultural communication and liaising with international clients and delegations.


- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
