Role Summary:

Aimlay, a global educational platform dedicated to the advancement of working professionals and PhD aspirants, is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) - Corporate for our Delhi headquarters.

In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between human capital management and organizational business goals, ensuring our workforce is aligned with our mission of equitable and quality education.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of HR policies, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring rigorous compliance with Indian labor and employment laws.

As a trusted advisor to leadership, you will manage employee relations and drive performance management cycles that recognize and reward the specialized expertise required to support doctoral-level academic services.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Policy Orchestration: Develop, refine, and implement comprehensive HR policies that align with Aimlays global mission and organizational growth.

- Employee Relations Governance: Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a transparent and positive workplace culture through effective conflict resolution and engagement initiatives.

- Compliance & Legal Oversight: Ensure the organization remains 100% compliant with local labor and employment laws, mitigating legal risks through proactive policy audits.

- Performance Management Leadership: Design and oversee the performance evaluation process, implementing feedback loops and development plans to drive high productivity.

- Organizational Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business objectives into actionable human resources strategies, including workforce planning and succession management.

- Talent Acquisition Support: Partner with the recruitment team to identify and attract specialized talent familiar with the EdTech and higher education landscape.

- Workplace Culture Advocacy: Drive initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).

- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional department heads to identify skill gaps and implement technical upskilling or training programs.

- Data-Driven HR Insights: Utilize HRIS tools to track key metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and time-to-hire to inform leadership decisions.

- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the technical lifecycle of employees, ensuring a seamless integration for new hires and professional exit processes for departing staff.

Technical Requirements:

- Core HR Knowledge: 5+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering or Corporate HR roles, preferably within the EdTech or service sectors.

- Employment Law Proficiency: Deep understanding of Indian Labor Laws and statutory compliance requirements.

- Performance Frameworks: Proven experience in implementing 360-degree feedback, OKRs, or balanced scorecard systems for performance evaluation.

- Strategic Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage sensitive employee relations and high-level stakeholder negotiations.

- Educational Foundation: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory; an MBA in HR is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- EdTech Sector Experience: Previous exposure to the unique HR challenges and talent needs of an educational service or writing support platform.

- Problem-Solving Acumen: Demonstrated ability to deconstruct complex employee grievances into fair and actionable resolutions.

- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work seamlessly across multiple departments in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

- Decision-Making Authority: Strong capability to take accountability for HR outcomes and drive change management initiatives.

- Corporate Recruitment: Hands-on experience in senior-level or niche academic recruitment is a significant advantage
