Overall Functional Scope

This role will serve as a key finance business partner to the manufacturing business segment, ensuring financial discipline, driving cost efficiencies, and delivering insight-based reporting for performance improvement. The incumbent will lead end-to-end financial management across operations including budgeting, costing, working capital control, and plant performance analytics.

Reporting To

- Lead plant and unit-level finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to optimize costs and improve margins.

2. Cost Control & Profitability

- Drive standard costing, variance analysis, and root cause actions.

- Ensure pricing decisions are backed by accurate product profitability data.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Track and report budget vs. actual performance with actionable insights.

4. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

- Leverage SAP for financial transactions, reporting, and control.

- Continuously improve financial processes and system utilization.

Skill Sets

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process orientation

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders

- Sound knowledge of Indian GAAP and cost accounting principles

Experience : 8-15 years in finance roles within manufacturing industries, with strong SAP (FICO) experience

Educational Background : CA / ICWA is a must
