
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and strategic Staffing Account Manager with a proven track record in domestic staffing and VMS/MSP delivery models. You will lead end-to-end recruitment operations for assigned accounts, ensure delivery excellence, handle escalations, and be responsible for client satisfaction and revenue growth. This role requires strong people management, account ownership, and the ability to scale recruitment operations from ground up.
Account & Client Management:
- Manage and grow existing client accounts under VMS/MSP models.
- Build detailed account plans identifying key stakeholders, potential hiring trends, and revenue targets.
- Own the entire opportunity management cycle: from business development to fulfillment and post-placement support.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for recruitment-related issues across accounts.
- Maintain continuous client engagement to understand upcoming requirements and challenges.
Recruitment Delivery Oversight
- Lead and support the recruitment delivery team for high-quality, timely submissions.
- Monitor performance metrics (TAT, submission-to-interview ratios, closures).
- Drive strategic sourcing and alternative hiring methods including referrals, job boards, databases, and social media.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Build, mentor, and manage a recruitment team, scaling it to meet volume and quality demands.
- Regularly review performance, provide coaching, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a high-performance culture and operational excellence.
Pipeline & Candidate Experience:
- Oversee the pipeline health: ensure talent pools are actively maintained.
- Guide recruiters on screening, shortlisting, and offer negotiations.
- Ensure a strong focus on candidate engagement, tracking, and onboarding experience.
Required Skill Set:
- VMS/MSP Delivery Experience: Proven success in managing large-scale recruitment via Vendor Management Systems and Managed Service Providers.
- Domestic Staffing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Indian staffing practices, market dynamics, and sourcing strategies.
- Client-Facing Experience: Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Recruitment Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with ATS systems, sourcing platforms (Naukri, Monster, LinkedIn), Excel reporting, and hiring dashboards.
- Strategic Thinking + Execution: Ability to drive both long-term planning and immediate hiring operations.
- Team Management: Hands-on experience managing and scaling recruitment teams.
- Escalation Management: Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience Required:
- Experience scaling a team and processes from scratch or early-stage phase.
- Hands-on exposure to end-to-end recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Prior experience working under performance-driven models with SLAs/KPIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong references or success metrics around hiring volumes, team performance, and account growth.
- Experience working across IT and Non-IT mandates is a plus.
