Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Account cum Project Manager to own end-to-end customer engagement for IT services and SaaS products. The role blends strategic account management with hands-on project delivery, ensuring successful onboarding, adoption, renewals, upsells, and on-time, on-budget project outcomes. The ideal candidate excels at building strong client relationships, articulating value, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering SaaS projects with a customer-centric, data-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management-
- Own and grow assigned accounts, including new logo acquisitions within target segments.
- Develop and execute account plans with clear objectives for revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage renewals, price changes, and contract negotiations; identify and close upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships; conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and delivery reviews.
- Monitor customer health metrics (NPS, CSAT, usage, adoption rates) and proactively address issues.
SaaS Sales & Product Expertise:
- Articulate the value proposition of SaaS offerings and IT services; map customer needs to product capabilities.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product to provide feedback from customers, influence roadmap priorities, and communicate feature requests.
- Develop tailored proposals, statements of work (SOW), and commercial terms; support RFPs and tender processes when needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years in IT sales/account management, preferably with SaaS products and/or IT services.
- 2+ years of project/Program Management experience; prior exposure to software implementations or MSP-style projects.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets (new logos, renewals, and/or upsell).
- Solid knowledge of SaaS business models, pricing, contracts, and renewal cycles.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and project tools (Jira, MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Certifications preferred: PMP/Prince2/PMI-ACP or Scrum/Agile certifications; relevant SaaS certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution; comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capability.
- Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience selling and delivering to mid-market and enterprise customers.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, security/compliance standards, data migration, integration patterns.
Ability to produce compelling business cases, ROI analyses, and value propositions.
