Manage all operational aspects of the policy right from renewal of policy, working closely with claims & risk services, client meetings, policy compliance, manage partners and brokers etc.. Working on key deliverables at the start and end of the policy. Key aspects are product delivery, risk management and profitability.
Key Deliverables
Account Management
- Managing portfolio of SME and Large customers
- Set up policy on the system
- Establish policy terms and conditions (including pricing and risk assessment).
- Proactively managing the overall relationship with customers and brokers
- Provide customer service and support
- Development and retention of existing customer relations with the aim of maximizing income growth
- Liaising with Insurance partners across the globe and developing new business relationships, primarily across Africa, Middle East and Europe
- Pitching proposals to insurance companies for clients who have won contracts after an overall study of the company. A proper pitch is prepared with detailed information pertaining to the background of the company, financials, projects in pipeline and geographic footprint.
- Evaluating client performance through analysis of the industry and economic conditions, business competitiveness, management strength and in-depth analysis of financial statements involving calculation & interpretation of key financial ratios essential to the business/industry.
- Provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and conducting performance appraisals for the team members.
- Reviewing the work performed by the subordinates and coaching them.
- Extensive stakeholder management.
