
Job Title: Account Executive (North America)
Location: Bangalore (Bellandur), 5 days/week onsite
Reporting To: Sales Leader
Supported By: 3 SDRs (no demand generation or meeting booking responsibilities)
Target Customers: SMB & Midmarket (US)
About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth in the North American SMB and Midmarket segment. The ideal candidate has a stellar academic pedigree (Tier 1 or 2 college), significant startup experience, and a sustained, high-achieving record in SaaS sales to US clients, preferably with proven promotions or awards. Youll join a fast-paced, growth-driven environment, take complete ownership of the sales cycle, and benefit from the support of a fully staffed SDR team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from qualification and discovery to demo, negotiation, and closure for leads delivered by SDRs.
- Advise, engage, and close deals with US-based SMB and Midmarket customers, tailoring your pitch to complex, multistakeholder buying groups.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client decision-makers, identifying needs and positioning SaaS solutions accordingly.
- Present effective product demos and proposal presentations, building business cases for decision-makers.
- Consistently exceed assigned sales targets and pipeline goals.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and activity reporting in the CRM.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Solutions, and Customer Success teams to deliver best-in-class client outcomes.
- Provide layered market and customer feedback for ongoing product enhancement.
Must-Have Requirements
- Graduate from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college or business school.
- Proven startup experienceideally with a VC-backed SaaS company.
- 2-6 years of quota-carrying experience selling SaaS products to US SMB/Midmarket accounts.
- Track record as a top performerconsistently exceeding targets and receiving at least one role promotion or sales award.
- Demonstrated consultative SaaS sales skills, including multistakeholder deal management and value selling.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; confident with US-based client leaders.
- Tech-savvy; proficient with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Willing to work from our Bangalore (Bellandur) office onsite 5 days a week.
