Job Title: Territory Business Manager

Function: Business Development & Market Intelligence

Main Purpose of the Role:

The Territory Business Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and supporting new business development opportunities within the assigned territory. The role focuses on conducting market research, feasibility analysis, and competitive intelligence to assess the viability of new markets, products, partnerships, and growth initiatives. The incumbent provides actionable insights to senior management to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed market research and feasibility studies to evaluate potential business development opportunities, including new markets, products, services, and partnerships.

- Collect, compile, validate, and analyze financial, competitive, sales, marketing, and industry data to identify growth opportunities and risks.

- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within the assigned territory.

- Develop structured reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide clear insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Prepare accurate and professional documents, presentations, and information packages for meetings and negotiations with potential clients, distributors, and business partners.

- Support senior leadership during client interactions, business reviews, and partnership discussions by providing relevant data and analysis.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align business development initiatives with organizational goals.

- Ensure that all external-facing materials are accurate, compliant, and suitable for distribution to clients and partners.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex data

- Understanding of market assessment, feasibility analysis, and business case development

- Proficiency in preparing management reports and presentations

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Commercial acumen and attention to detail
