Job Purpose:

The Territory Business Manager (TBM) will drive business performance for the assigned territory by implementing company strategies, ensuring strong customer relationships, monitoring market dynamics, and coaching the field team to achieve targets. The role requires strong execution, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the therapy area.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Business & Execution:

- Analyze market data and prepare effective working plans for the territory.

- Ensure strong execution of all company policies, strategies, and action plans.

- Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, guide, and motivate Territory Business Executives (TBEs).

- Coach team members to build capability, drive performance culture, and ensure operational excellence.

- Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

External:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, stockists, chemists, retailers, and institutional pharmacies.

Internal:

- Collaborate effectively with TBMs, cross-functional teams, and organizational leadership.

Planning & Monitoring:

- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.

- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation as per company standards.

Communication & Coordination:

- Communicate key updates, insights, and strategies to the team in a simplified and actionable manner.

- Ensure smooth coordination with supply chain, marketing, and other internal teams.

Administrative & Technical Skills:

- Basic computer proficiency: Excel, Word, email communication.

- Ensure compliance with organizational processes and ethical standards.

Required Experience:

- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a First Line Manager in the same therapy segment (General Medicine preferred).

- Proven track record of strong execution and team management.

Required Qualifications:

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. preferred.

- Graduates from other disciplines may apply with strong educational background and consistent performance history.
