Description:

Primary Job Function:

The role is responsible for achieving assigned territory- and geography-wise sales targets through effective field execution, relationship management, and strategic promotion of the Divisions products. The incumbent will operate independently in the field, ensure disciplined reporting, and contribute to brand growth and market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for the allocated territory/geography.

- Conduct effective field work with minimal day-to-day supervision while maintaining high productivity.

- Ensure daily reporting of field activities through the designated online reporting system.

- Meet and maintain prescribed Call Average, Coverage, and Frequency norms of the assigned division.

- Generate maximum prescriptions and drive sustainable growth in market share.

- Promote the Divisions products in line with approved brand strategy, positioning, and compliance guidelines.

- Build and nurture strong professional relationships with key stakeholders including Doctors, Chemists, Stockists, and Distributors.

- Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to support strategy formulation.

- Support and facilitate territory-level and division-level strategy building and execution.

- Act as a strong Brand Ambassador by upholding company values, ethics, and brand image at all times.

Educational Qualifications:

Minimum: B.Sc. / B.Pharm

Masters degree (MBA / M.Pharm or equivalent) Preferred

Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 3+ years of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience.

- Prior or current experience in the same therapy area is mandatory.

- Experience with reputed MNCs or leading Indian pharmaceutical companies will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- High level of confidence and professionalism in customer interactions.

- Result-oriented mindset with strong execution capability.

- Ability to work independently, plan territory activities, and manage time effectively.

- Analytical skills to interpret market trends and sales data.

Reporting & Work Environment:

- Field-based role with extensive travel within the assigned territory.

- Reports field activities and performance metrics through company-defined systems.
