
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our medical device sales team in the Madurai region. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of sales leadership, business development, and team management in the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and a customer-centric approach within the sales team.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue growth within the medical device industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, clinics, and medical professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, and operations to drive overall business growth.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to improve team effectiveness.
- Conduct regular evaluations, set clear objectives, and deliver constructive feedback.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments impacting the industry.
- Analyze market data and sales performance to refine sales strategies and support business decisions.
Requirements:
1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in medical device sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
2. Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
