THE COMPANY
- We are building India's first dedicated institution for finance.
- Not a general management school with a finance elective, but a purpose-built institution designed for the top tier of talent in banking, financial services, and investing.
- The curriculum is being co-created with industry leaders, authored by practitioners, and reviewed by an academic council drawn from leading Indian and global institutions.
- The institution is currently being built in Mumbai, with the inaugural cohort expected in 2027.
- This is a rare opportunity to help shape an institution from the ground up while many of its defining decisions are still being made.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- This role sits within the Capital Markets track and focuses on turning senior practitioner knowledge into structured, repeatable learning. You'll work directly with CXOs, fund managers, and IB leaders - moving between designing the learning and running it in the room.
- This is a founding role. The scope reflects our current thinking - we expect to shape the final mandate in conversation with the right person, not hand down a fixed JD unchanged.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Design the Learning
- Work with senior Capital Markets practitioners before each module. Turn their expertise into something structured, sequenced, and teachable, beyond a lecture.
Build the Assessment System
- Define how we evaluate whether learning actually happened. Specific, structured feedback, tied to real outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Close the Loop
- Assess each module after delivery. Fix what didn't work. Improve it every cohort.
Bridge Industry and Classroom
- Connect the Capital Markets Industry Senate's curriculum decisions to what actually happens in the room.
Run Experiments
- Test module formats and feedback structures. Keep what works. Cut what doesn't.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have likely led L&D or capability-building inside a Capital Markets firm.
You may have:
- Designed learning for experienced professionals, not just entry-level onboarding.
- Worked directly with CXO-level stakeholders as subject-matter partners, not passive trainees.
- Built a learning function from scratch, inside or outside a formal L&D mandate.
More importantly, you've demonstrated that practitioner knowledge can become something others can actually learn.
SIGNALS WE LOOK FOR
- Evidence of converting expert judgment into teachable structure.
- Ownership of learning outcomes, not just session delivery.
- Ability to build a function with no existing playbook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
