SAP Project Manager - Ariba - Sourcing to Pay

Roles and responsibilities

Leads end-to-end delivery of the Ariba Greenfield Implementation, building a standalone source-to-pay (S2P) platform. The project reuses/re-architects existing business elements, adapts templates/processes to Robotics business needs, integrates with external systems (e.g., S/4 Hana, MDG), and manages multi-country roll-outs.

Core objectives: enable efficient supplier management, ensure procurement transparency, compliance, and cost control.

Expected experience, skill sets and abilities -

- Plan and execute multi-country roll-out of the Ariba platform, aligning with local regional requirements while maintaining global consistency and compliance.

- Establish project governance, manage budget/timeline, mitigate risks (decoupling, integration, roll-out delays) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, IT, finance) and external vendors; lead change management, user training, and adoption support across regions.

- Ensure the platform adheres to global compliance standards, financial controls, and supports efficient supplier management and cost control.

- Oversee go-live, post-launch hypercare, and optimize platform performance across all rolled-out countries.

- Expertise in Ariba configuration, greenfield deployment, and integration with external financial/ERP systems.

- Strong ability to manage multi-country roll-outs, align regional requirements with global standards.

- Excellent stakeholder/vendor management, risk mitigation, and change management skills.

- Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Jira); familiarity with Robotics industry preferred

Mandatory Qualifications -

- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Business Admin, or related field.

- 10+ years IS/IT Project Manager experience, with proven Ariba (S2P) greenfield implementation experience.

- Demonstrated experience in multi-country enterprise system roll-out, system decoupling and external system integration (e.g., S/4 Hana).

- PMP/PRINCE2 certified; deep knowledge of Ariba modules, procurement processes, and compliance controls.

- Ariba certification; deep experience integrating Ariba with S/4 Hana.
