Job Summary: - As the Assistant Manager Financial Reporting you will support the Finance Controller with all aspects of financial statement preparation. - This role will help ensure the timely and accurate preparation of the month end and year end accounts. - This role will work closely with the Financial Control team and other business stakeholders. - You will be a well organised individual with strong accounting skills, a good understanding of IGAAP / IFRS and other technical aspects of accounting. Key Responsibilities: - Lead monthly reporting close process and preparation of financial statements in line with given deadlines. - Lead completion of statutory audit / Group Audit / AGR Audit and filing of entity accounts in line with statutory deadlines and other local laws and requirements. - Support preparation and adherence of Internal controls over financial reporting, accounting policies, accounting manual and technical papers to ensure compliance with IFRS and other local reporting requirements for all legal entities. - Support the FP&A and Business Partner teams in understanding consolidation reports, IFRS and other technical aspects of accounting as required. - Maintain and reconcile fixed asset register, prepayments, accruals, and other accounting schedules. Required Competencies: - Strong financial reporting and analytical skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google sheets. - Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Work Experience & Qualifications: - Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of experience in financial reporting. - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - 4-5 years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role. - Experience in the same or similar industry will be added advantage.
