The Role: We are looking for a Customer Success Manager who can bridge the gap between technology and business outcomes for our clients in retail and distribution. This role is not limited to onboarding and support it requires a structured thinker who can diagnose business challenges, design sales excellence interventions, and work closely with senior client stakeholders to maximize impact from the BeatRoute platform. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage relationships at the highest levels, ensuring our clients achieve measurable improvements in their sales processes. Key Responsibilities: Business Diagnosis & Solutioning: - Engage with client leadership to identify challenges in retail execution and distribution. - Translate these challenges into actionable solutions within BeatRoute. - Design structured roadmaps and interventions for long-term sales excellence. Customer Onboarding & Value Realization: - Lead blueprinting workshops and adoption strategies with client teams. - Establish measurable KPIs (sales uplift, order quality, productivity) and ensure outcomes are met. - Ensure seamless integration of BeatRoute into client sales operations. Strategic Relationship Management: - Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, building strong partnerships. - Drive quarterly reviews that focus on ROI and business impact, not just product adoption. - Represent the voice of the customer within BeatRoute. Renewals & Growth: - Secure renewals by showcasing business outcomes delivered. - Identify expansion opportunities and build business cases for adoption across functions or geographies. - Partner with Sales on commercial discussions with data-backed insights. Internal Enablement & Knowledge Sharing: - Mentor team members on structured problem-solving, client engagement, and value delivery. - Develop playbooks and best practices for driving customer success at scale. The Right Candidate Will Have: - 5-8 years experience in roles involving business problem-solving, sales transformation, or strategy execution and consulting. - Deep understanding of FMCG/Retail distribution models and on-ground sales challenges. - Strong skills in structuring problems, analyzing data, and building compelling narratives. - Experience engaging with senior business stakeholders and influencing decision-making. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. - SaaS or digital transformation exposure is preferred but not mandatory. - Prior experience in SaaS companies,. - Exposure to working with enterprise SaaS platforms in domains such as supply chain & procurement. - Experience in retail business transformation projects, including strategy-to-delivery execution. Enterprise Sales Manager Location: Johannesburg, South Africa. Relocation: Required (company supports relocation for the right candidate). Employment type: Full-time. About BeatRoute: BeatRoute is a Goal-Driven AI platform that unifies SFA (Sales Force Automation), DMS (Distributor Management), and eB2B into one stack to drive measurable sales uplift across field teams, distributors, and retailers. Its AI agents (e.g., for ordering, scheduling, insights, and a Copilot) guide frontline execution and improve retail performance, especially in FMCG and consumer markets across Africa. The Opportunity: You will own end-to-end enterprise new business for BeatRoute across South Africa starting from prospecting, multi-stakeholder deal orchestration, commercial negotiation, and handover to delivery while shaping Mucheki Consultings footprint in retail, FMCG, consumer durables, pharma, and adjacent verticals. Expect complex, committee-driven cycles and tailored value propositions anchored on sales uplift, route-to-market digitization, and retail execution KPIs. Key Responsibilities: Pipeline generation: - Build and maintain a strong pipeline across target industries. - Leverage outbound outreach, networking, and marketing campaigns to create opportunities. Discovery: - Conduct detailed discovery with enterprise clients to understand their sales execution challenges. - Identify gaps in SFA, distributor management, and retail execution. - Solution selling (solution presentation). - Present BeatRoutes platform and modules in a consultative, ROI-focused manner. - Lead product demos and proof-of-concepts with presales support. Negotiation: - Manage pricing, commercial terms, and negotiations with enterprise clients. - Navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making groups and procurement processes. Close: - Secure new ARR from enterprise clients. - Ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation and customer success teams. Ideal Candidate Profile: - Bachelors degree from a reputable university in India (required). - MBA or postgraduate specialization in Sales/Marketing is a plus. - 2 - 4 years in tech/SaaS or enterprise software sales, with proven new-business results. - Exposure to FMCG/CPG, consumer durables, pharma, or field-heavy industries preferred. - Experience selling SFA/CRM/DMS/eB2B or analytics/AI solutions is advantageous. Skills & Attributes: - Consultative selling, multi-stakeholder deal management, and executive storytelling. - Ability to translate retail execution and route-to-market needs into quantifiable ROI. - Strong demo leadership with presales; commercial acumen for complex pricing and contracts. - Hands-on with CRM (Zoho/Salesforce or similar), pipeline hygiene, and forecasting. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. We are seeking a highly driven Go-to-Market (GTM) Marketer with an Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Focus to design and execute integrated, data-driven ABM strategies powered by AI. In this role, you will be responsible for creating targeted ABM programs that align sales, marketing, and product teams to engage high-value accounts, accelerate adoption across verticals, and influence revenue growth. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking and tactical execution. Youll leverage AI-native tools, multi-channel orchestration, and data-driven insights to deliver personalized experiences that resonate with key decision-makers and drive measurable outcomes.
