Zycus is looking for an experienced SEO Manager to lead and scale our organic growth engine across search and AI-led discovery. This role requires a strong practitioner who can independently drive on-page, off-page, content, and technical SEO for a WordPress-based B2B enterprise website, while also building visibility across AI search and LLM-driven discovery platforms.
- This is a high-impact role for someone who understands how modern SEO extends beyond rankings into organic pipeline generation, buyer discovery, and AI visibility. You will be responsible for improving Zycus' search presence across traditional search engines and emerging AI interfaces by combining technical SEO, content strategy, authority building, and experimentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SEO Strategy & Organic Growth
- Own and execute the end-to-end SEO strategy to drive organic traffic, engagement, and conversion across the Zycus website
- Build and scale SEO programs aligned to business goals such as inquiries, MQLs, pipeline contribution, and organic conversion
- Develop SEO roadmaps for global and regional growth across North America, EMEA, and APAC
- Translate business priorities, product messaging, and buyer intent into high-impact SEO opportunities
2. On-Page SEO
- Lead on-page optimization across key website pages including product, solution, industry, and campaign landing pages
- Optimize metadata, headers, internal linking, content structure, URL architecture, schema markup, and crawlability
- Ensure all pages are aligned with SEO copywriting best practices and buyer intent
- Continuously audit and refresh underperforming pages based on keyword movement, traffic, and conversion signals
3. Off-Page SEO & Authority Building
- Build and execute scalable white-hat off-page SEO strategies to improve domain authority and organic rankings
- Analyze backlink profiles, identify link-building opportunities, and improve referring domain quality
- Drive strategic backlink acquisition through partnerships, digital PR, thought leadership, guest content, and authority mentions
- Monitor competitor backlink strategies and identify authority-building gaps
4. Content SEO
- Partner with Product Marketing, GTM, Content, and Design teams to build SEO-led content strategies
- Conduct keyword and intent research to identify content opportunities across the buyer funnel
- Recommend new content creation, content refreshes, and content consolidation to improve rankings and conversions
- Ensure all content is optimized for both human engagement and search discoverability
- Drive SEO inputs across blogs, solution pages, pillar pages, comparison pages, and long-form thought leadership assets
5. Technical SEO
- Own technical SEO audits and implementation in partnership with web and development teams
- Improve crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, structured data, and site architecture
- Ensure technical hygiene across page load speed, redirects, canonicals, breadcrumbs, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and crawl paths
- Work closely with developers to ensure SEO-friendly implementation across WordPress templates and site releases
6. AI Search / GEO / LLM Visibility
- Own Zycus' visibility across emerging AI discovery channels including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and other LLM-driven interfaces
- Build and execute GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies to improve discoverability across AI answer engines
- Optimize content and site structure for AI retrieval, entity recognition, citation visibility, and answer relevance
- Identify opportunities to improve Zycus' AI visibility through structured content, semantic relevance, authority building, and LLM-friendly formatting
- Track and improve brand presence across AI-generated search experiences and monitor how Zycus appears in LLM-driven recommendations
7. Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Track and report on SEO performance across rankings, traffic, engagement, conversions, pipeline contribution, and ROI
- Build dashboards and performance reports using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools
- Conduct SEO performance analysis and recommend actions based on trends, funnel performance, and keyword movement
- Run SEO experiments, A/B tests, and performance benchmarks to improve conversion and search efficiency
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Marketing, GTM, Content, Design, Web, and Customer Marketing teams to execute SEO initiatives
- Partner with paid media / SEM teams to align keyword strategy, search coverage, and insights across paid and organic
- Act as the central SEO stakeholder across all digital marketing initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 6-9 years of hands-on SEO experience in B2B SaaS / enterprise technology environments
- Strong practical expertise in on-page, off-page, technical SEO, and content SEO
- Must have proven experience managing SEO for a WordPress-based B2B enterprise website
- Strong experience with keyword research, keyword clustering, content mapping, and search intent strategy
- Deep working knowledge of backlink analysis and white-hat off-page SEO practices
- Strong technical SEO fundamentals with practical implementation experience
- Experience using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and similar platforms
- Strong understanding of SEO reporting, ranking analysis, funnel metrics, and conversion tracking
- Experience partnering with content, product marketing, and development teams in a fast-paced B2B environment
- Must have hands-on experience with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and improving AI visibility across LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, etc.)
Preferred Skills
- MBA in Marketing or equivalent
- Experience in B2B SaaS/Enterprise Tech/Procurement/IT software
- Strong understanding of SEO copywriting and conversion-focused content strategy
- Familiarity with structured data, semantic SEO, and entity optimization
Blogging and long-form content strategy experience
