Zurich Kotak - Head - Products & Process Management

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Development:

- Lead the product roadmap and lifecycle management for all general insurance offerings.

- Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and regulatory changes to inform product innovation.

- Oversee end-to-end product design, development, pricing, and launch.

Process Management and Optimization:

- Establish and improve business processes related to product management, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

- Implement best practices in process governance, documentation, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate across functions (Underwriting, Claims, IT, Sales) to optimize customer journey and operational workflows.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure all products and processes adhere to IRDAI and Zurich Kotak standards.

- Liaise with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements and audits.

Team Leadership:

- Mentor and lead the Products and Process Management team.

- Foster a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and excellence.

Stakeholder Management:

- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, regulators, and customers.

- Represent the organization in industry forums and collaborate with Zurich Group functions.

Qualifications:

- Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field.

- 20+ years experience in General insurance product management and process optimization.

- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and technology trends in the insurance sector.

- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

- Proven ability to manage teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
