Description:
- The Zonal Sales Manager - North India will be responsible for building and leading General Trade operations across the North India region as well as MT/HORECA.
- The role entails establishing a strong direct distributor network, expanding retail coverage, leading a large on-ground team, and delivering sustainable, profitable sales growth across the staples, salt, and SnackPure categories while maintaining CM-L3 profitability.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Distribution Expansion:
- Establish and expand the GT network across North India (Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, J&K).
2. Sales Planning & Execution:
- Develop detailed monthly/quarterly sales plans with SKU-level targets and city-wise cascades.
3. Channel Development & Profitability:
- Maintain CM-L3 profitability through effective pricing, discount control, and scheme optimization.
4. Team Leadership:
- Lead and coach a regional sales structure of 1 RSM and ~20 Sales Officers.
5. Market Intelligence & Business Development:
- Track competitor activities, trade feedback, and price movements.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Experience:- 18-20+ years in FMCG Foods (staples, snacks, salt, or similar categories).
- Proven track record of scaling GT distribution across North India along with MT/HORECA
- Strong current network of distributors, dealers, and top retailers.
- Demonstrated ownership of large regional P&L (200-500 Cr+).
Key Skills & Competencies: Deep GT and channel management expertise.
Education: Master's or Bachelor's in any related field.
