Business Analyst


Description:


We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst with experience in the BFSI domain, preferably in stock-broking or wealth management. The ideal candidate will act as a key link between business operations, digital platforms, and technology teamsdriving operational efficiency, process improvements, and data-driven decision-making within our stock-broking ecosystem.


Roles & Responsibilities:


- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across trading, broking operations, and wealth management functions.


- Map, evaluate, and optimize core processes including account onboarding, KYC/DP operations, trade execution, margin management, and settlements.


- Support new product launches and platform enhancement initiatives such as brokerage plan upgrades and digital trading improvements.


- Build dashboards and MIS reports to track KPIs such as digital account openings, AUM growth, client activity, and trading volumes.


- Collaborate with IT, Product, Operations, and Compliance teams to deliver business solutions aligned with SEBI and stock exchange regulations.


- Conduct market research and competitor analysis within the broking and wealth management space to recommend actionable improvements.


- Assist in UAT, requirement clarification, and rollout activities for new features or system enhancements.


Qualifications:


- Master's or Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related field.


- Experience as a Business Analyst in BFSI, with exposure to stock-broking or wealth management preferred.


Required Skills:


- Hands-on experience in business analysis within the BFSI sector.


- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirement-gathering skills.


- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, BI tools, SQL preferred).


- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


Preferred Skills:


- Familiarity with stock-broking, DP operations, and wealth management workflows.


- Understanding of SEBI regulations, compliance norms, and operational guidelines.


- Exposure to digital trading platforms, brokerage products, or fintech environments.
