The India Capability and Expertise centers primarily support projects that are delivered for US and Europe clients, in the areas of Business Analytics, Business Operation and Business Technology and all within the domain of sales and marketing.  - ZS Associates placed 3rd in the Vault Pharmaceutical & Health Care Consulting practice area and 12th in the overall rankings.  - ZS Associates was named the 7th best consulting company to work for in 2009 by Consulting Magazine.  - ZS currently is the 7th toughest to crack interview with.  Role of Business Technology (Intelligence) Consultant  - The person in this role will be one of the leads in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying of business intelligence solutions to meet sales and marketing business process requirements using Informatica, Business Objects and Oracle. Prior experience of working with Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences clients will be an added advantage.  The candidate is also expected to:  - Manage the Datawarehouse Life Cycle for large scale sales and marketing data warehouses and reporting data marts.  - Manage the day to day delivery process across 1-2 client engagements helping to deliver world-class business and technology solutions.  - Provide leadership in logical/physical data modeling and solution design.  - Use best practices to design the datawarehouse (star schema), test plans, ETL, reports.  - Guide project teams in implementing solution design.  - Lead a team of 10-15 comprising of associates and associate consultants.  - Set standards for application performance, operations, programming and security.  - Guide project teams in applying business rules and systems design.  - Develop and maintain data management standards and conventions, data dictionaries, data element naming standards and data dictionary metadata standards.   - Travel to US/Europe (as needed) to work with client and provide technology expertise to other ZS teams  Qualifications:   - Prior experience of working with Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences clients will be preferred  - 7-10 years of hands on IT consulting work experience primarily focused on designing ETL and reporting modules, developing and deploying large scale data marts, data warehouses and reporting solutions  - A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university is preferred.  - Significant design and implementation experience in Informatica, Business Objects and Oracle.   - Experience with the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.  - Experience in architectural design, dimensional modeling (Star schema), ETL and data migration.  - Significant experience with performance tuning and optimization of applications.  - Experience with and knowledge of Master Data Management.  - Knowledge of current data modeling, and data warehouse concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends.  - Significant experience with analyzing and troubleshooting the interaction between databases, operating systems, and applications.  - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form.  - Help with the selling process including writing proposals and giving product demos.   - Significant supervisory, coaching and hands-on project management skills.  - Ability to work within a virtual (off-shore) team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.  - Prior experience in sales and marketing and SAS would be a plus  If the above opportunity suits you, please send me your updated CV & below mentioned details in the cover letter -   Total IT Experience: Relevant .Net Experience: Relevant Technical Support Experience: Current CTC: Expected CTC: Notice Period:
