About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead - Leasing to oversee all leasing activities across our portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards, maximizing rental income, and building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and internal stakeholders. The Lease Manager will play a critical role in lease negotiations, renewals, documentation, and strategic portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

Lease Administration

- Draft, review, and manage lease agreements, renewals, amendments, and terminations.

- Maintain accurate lease records and ensure timely system updates.

- Track lease expiry dates and initiate renewal or exit discussions in advance.

Tenant & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary liaison for landlords, tenants, and property managers.

- Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure smooth operations and conflict resolution.

Financial & Compliance

- Ensure timely payment of rents, deposits, and other obligations.

- Coordinate with finance to reconcile lease-related accounts.

- Ensure agreements adhere to legal, regulatory, and company requirements.

Negotiation & Strategy

- Negotiate commercial terms to secure favorable lease conditions.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining strong landlord relationships.

- Support site selection, expansion plans, and portfolio optimization.

Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare MIS/reports on leasing status, rental outflow, renewals, and potential risks.

- Monitor market trends, rental benchmarks, and competitor activity.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in lease management, property management, or a related role (retail, corporate, or real estate sector).

- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

- Sound knowledge of real estate laws, leasing processes, and financial analysis.

- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with lease management software is an advantage.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple leases simultaneously.
