As we scale rapidly, we are building a best-in-class finance function to support data-driven decisions, business growth, and profitability. The FP&A / Business Finance Lead will be a strategic partner to business teams, driving financial planning, analysis, and performance monitoring across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Own the annual operating plan (AOP), budgets, and rolling forecasts.

- Build and maintain financial models for revenue, margin, and cost drivers across channels (D2C, marketplaces, retail).

- Conduct variance analysis vs budget/forecast, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.

Business Finance Partnering:

- Act as a finance partner to business, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams.

- Evaluate ROI of marketing spends, campaigns, offline expansion, and new product launches.

- Provide commercial insights to optimize pricing, promotions, and channel strategy.

Performance Management:

- Track and report business KPIs (CAC, LTV, gross margin, contribution margin, payback period, working capital efficiency).

- Present dashboards and insights to management, enabling faster, informed decisions.

- Drive cost optimization initiatives while balancing growth investments. Investor & Management Reporting

- Prepare monthly MIS, board decks, and investor updates with sharp financial insights.

- Support fundraising with business cases, financial models, and due diligence requests.

- Partner with founders to translate business strategy into financial outcomes. Systems & Processes

- Drive automation in reporting and analytics (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools). - Enhance forecasting accuracy and process discipline across functions. - Implement SOPs for budgeting and performance tracking.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) with 5-8 years' experience in FP&A / Business Finance (startup / consumer / e-commerce preferred).

- Strong financial modeling, scenario analysis, and presentation skills. - Proven experience in business partnering and decision support. - Hands-on exposure to D2C / retail metrics (CAC, LTV, contribution margin).

- High proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, and dashboards (Power BI/Tableau preferred).

- Strong analytical and commercial acumen; ability to challenge status quo. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
